With the research on acupuncture and fertility, many women consider acupuncture treatment at some stage in their fertility journey. While it’s not totally clear whether or not acupuncture will improve your chances of conception, most who have tried acupuncture praise its stress reducing effect.
On the other hand, there are women who have given acupuncture a try and just didn’t enjoy it or find it stress reducing.

- I had been trying to conceive for just over a year when I tried acupuncture. I did it weekly for about 4.5 months, I didn't really enjoy it. I did feel a bit relaxed afterwards but that could be more to do with just lying on the table with soft music and scented candles for about 20 mins. Unfortunately, it didn't help me conceive. I have a friend who has chronic fatigue who swears by it though.

- I've been thinking of trying acupuncture for close to 2 years and have finally started. I've been going for 2 months now and love it! It helps me relax, sleep better and has done wonders for my cycles. I've had 3 29-30 cycles when I usually have longer ones - certainly not 3 such consistant cycles. Bleeding has been lighter and much more manageable as well. I've lost about 6 pounds as well. All in all I'm very happy with acupuncture so far. Whether it will it will help me conceive remains to be seen but I'm optimistic so far.
