Where Are You In Your Trying to Conceive Journey:

Well, after the birth of my first born back in 1995, I vowed to never have another. However since that time I have matured and I have grown to love children and now is a better time than any (I am not getting any younger). I am with someone new who doesn't have children, but wants children, which is the ideal situation and opportunity for us. I suffered for years with both obesity and polycystic ovary syndrome. Since drastic weight loss in 2005, I have been polycystic ovary free. However I am having a hard time conceiving. My periods are irregular but have been that way for some time. This is my first cycle on clomid ......

Describe in More Detail Your Infertility Story:

I was on depo for like two years, and then I decided to get pregnant. For some reason, I believe the depo made me infertile....upon getting off depo my periods didn't come for months, and when they started coming, they would only last for 1-2 days! I wasn't complaining at first because getting my period is not my favorite time of the month....none the less, I neglected the signs and now I am certainly paying for it! I hope clomid turns my situation around I pray about it day and night....all I ask is that if you read this story that you pray for me too

Sincerely,

Want a baby so bad it hurts out of NJ

Lessons Learned

  • What I have learned so far from my entire ordeal thus far is that I should never ignore what my body is telling me. I learned that I am not a doctor and when I see something that just doesn't seem right, that I should immediately consult with my doctor............pray for my womb people that it is filled with a child of God.
