Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPK))

Definition: Ovulation predictor kits detect a surge of the hormone LH, which peaks 24 to 48 hours prior to ovulation. Sometimes abbreviated as OPK, ovulation predictor kits require you to urinate on a stick every morning, for the week before you expect to ovulate.
