ICSI

Definition: ICSI stands for intracytoplasmic sperm injection, and is pronounced ICK-sea, or ICK-seas. Sometimes used with assisted reproductive technologies like IVF, ICSI involved taking one sperm cell and injecting it directly into an egg, with a small, specialized needle.
