Here's a resolution you may not have considered, but for those who have been struggling with infertility for a long time, it's a good one: resolve to take your life back in 2012.
Trying to conceive can quickly take over your life, especially if you're the kind of person who hates to fail. Even a few unsuccessful months can make an overachiever crazy.
But for those that have been trying for months or years, it's even more difficult to pull yourself out of infertility's dark hole. Difficult... but not impossible.
The most important thing to remember is you are not in this alone. Find a friend who you can confide in about these issues. Join a RESOLVE support group. Get a therapist (bonus points for one experienced with fertility issues.) And don't forget to involve your partner in this reclamation of your life.
Because your life is so much more than two week waits and failed pregnancy tests. So, so much more. You just need to remember that and rediscover life beyond the fertility clinic waiting room.
