The long wait...
- The day after ovulation, I did not expect to feel tired or anxious. It just happened... Then, the next days were hell with PMS/pregnancy signs. God I become desperate and went online reading every thing pregnancy, then I was told to take the test on day 9. It was negative. I am disappointed and lost the signs. I think it was all in my head, but I still have more days before my period, either way I will cry. I have nobody to talk to, everyone around me conceives easily!

Exciting yet Scary
- Oh My gosh, this 2 week wait is crazy, my husband and I have a 2 year old and she was a conceived surprise, I took a test after I missed my period. Now actually "ttc" (learning these terms from you girls) has brought on some anxiety. This is only the first month, but I feel slight cramping and I'm tired (don't know if it's all in my head or not) but waiting another week is killing me! Best of Luck to Everyone!

3rd 2ww
- This is my 3rd two week wait, and it is getting harder and harder every month. Thank goodness for my husband who has all of the patience in the world, since I am an emotional mess every month due to the Clomid. hopefully we will be lucky soon:)

just got my period after another ttw
- Ttc is so frustrating and this is only the third month of trying. I guess I always thought I'd just get off birth control and magically I'd become pregnant immediately..... I know soooo naive. Anyway reading some of your responses will hopefully make the next ttw a little less obsessive and difficult for me. I hope everyone gets BFP's very soon!!!

Getting away from the 2WW!
- I hate the 2WW! It never gets any easier. My best coping strategies are to keep busy with mindless tasks (clean out that closet!) but also to have days away doing something fun. For some reason its important to take yourself completely out of your normal context, which helps put things back in perspective as well as distracting you from your thoughts - so book yourself and your other half a fun day or weekend out away from home. Also, MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL is to stop "symptom spotting"! Fertility drug side effect symptoms, premenstrual symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms are all near enough identical anyway, so quit over analyzing, you're just tormenting yourself. Best of luck everyone, hope you get a BFP soon!

Don't Obsess Over the Two Week Wait
- I have been through 7 TWW, 2 of which resulted in BFP. Unfortunately, I lost both of those pregnancies at 8-10 wks, and testing never revealed a cause, which is really frustrating. I am now in the middle of yet another TWW, and it doesn't get any easier. The only advice I have is try your best not to obsess over everything you feel, because really you can't differentiate between PMS and early pregnancy symptoms. Also, stay away from those home tests until you miss your period. Lastly, remember you are not alone :)

Miserable 2 weeks!
- I started my dreaded period today after almost 2 years of TTC. I wish I had some coping skills to deal with the 2 week period but I just don't. I do the same as many other women and start to analyze every feeling I have in my body, hoping that I am pregnant and not just menstrual cramps starting. It gives me tears just thinking about it!:(

Special Time with Hubby
- To cope with the two-week wait, my husband and I schedule a special dinner date for the day after I test. We' figure we'd either be celebrating a pregnancy or will need to be out doing something fun after getting a negative. So this gives us something to look forward to either way.

Get Some Shut Eye!
- I am in the midst of a 2ww, and I find that going to bed an hour earlier than normal is helping to pass the time a bit faster. Plus, a little extra sleep can't be a bad thing during this very stressful time. I wake up feeling more refreshed and energetic, which seems to make me want to get up and do something other than sit around all day analyzing every little twinge in my belly, or Googling IVF factoids nonstop. Good luck, ladies!

Two Weeks Wait
- Since the symptoms are almost the same as PMS, how do you tell you have conceived before actually missing a period? I have this pain in my abdomen, and I don't know if they are PMS or I might have conceived. Anyway, still waiting and the wait is becoming longer each day.

The Two weeks wait
- It's really hard when you are trying to conceive and have to wait, whether your period will come or not, and eventually when it comes, and you had been expectanting that you will be pregnant. It's really disappointing, I have cried myself to sleep many nights.

Keeping busy!
- It may not be the best way, but I cope by staying as busy as I can. I schedule dates with my husband during that time, too, like movie nights. Anything to pass time, especially time that might normally feel as if it's dragging on forever (like at night). It helps most of the time, but not all the time... there are some two week waits that just are harder than others. But it's better than it used to be...
