Share Briefly Your Trying to Conceive Experience
We were TTC for 3.5 years. After the first year, we saw a doctor who ran all the usual tests and found that I had fibroids and PCOS. I had surgery for the fibroids, and after the surgery, I took metformin for the PCOS for several months before adding Clomid. We tried to conceive with only the meds until Nov 2008 when I had my first IUI.
Explain in Detail Your Pregnancy Success Cycle
My first IUI was successful. I was taking 1000 mg of metformin, 150 mg clomid days 5-9, and had a HCG trigger shot. I had the trigger shot the evening before the IUI in the morning. We found out Dec. 14th 2008 that I was pregnant! I felt pregnant quickly partly because of the HCG, and partly because it just works quickly in me. My breasts were very sensitive, and I was exhausted!
After you have the HCG shot, your at-home pregnancy tests can be positive for a week or two, so when I tested at 14 days passed the test, there was a remote possibility that it was still the shot. So I tested everyday until I got my beta results to make sure the line didn't go away!!

How Far Along Are You In Your Pregnancy?
I am currently pregnant, but not with my IUI baby, she just turned 1! I got pregnant naturally when my daughter was 8.5 months old! The doctor says sometimes getting pregnant resets the system.
