Where Are You In Your Trying to Conceive Journey:
After trying for 6 months, we went to the doctor just to make sure everything was working correctly, since I'm over 35. Turns out that I do have one blocked fallopian tube. The doctor is supposed to call me in a couple of days to discuss what this means, so I'm really not sure exactly how this will affect our chances. But we're in those most fertile days now, so we're giving it our best shot for this month!
Describe in More Detail Your Infertility Story:
The test that the doctor recommended to see if the fallopian tubes are blocked is HSG. This test puts a contrast dye into the uterus and out through the fallopian tubes. Many times, after this test is done, couples are able to conceive that month. The doctor says that could be because the fluid going through the tubes might clear them out, making it easier for the egg to be released.
Lessons Learned
- My husband and I are so strong as a couple, and we are very supportive of each other. I know that, no matter what, everything will work out for the best.
