Definition:

A vasography is a specialized x-ray sometimes used in the diagnosis or treatment of male infertility. It involves injecting a radiographic dye into the vas deferens and ejaculatory ducts. An x-ray is taken once the dye is injected.

A vasography is used if an obstruction is suspected and ultrasound did not provide a clear enough picture of the problem.
