Vas Deferens

Definition:

The vas deferens is the thin muscular tube that carries the sperm from the testes to the urethra. It is part of the male reproductive system. Obstruction of this tube can lead to male infertility. During a vasectomy, the vans deferens is cut and sealed, as a method of permanent birth control.
