One of the worst feelings is helplessness, and infertility can certainly bring on that feeling. Even if you are taking important steps, like talking to your doctor or starting treatment, you may still feel like you're just a puppet in an infertility play.

Some people can lessen feelings of helplessness by taking steps to improve their health and fertility in natural ways. Now, don't misunderstand me -- usually, infertility can't be resolved by just changing a lifestyle habit. But you may be able to boost your odds for successful treatment. If your health improvement plan also helps you feel less out of control, even better.

1) Smoking must be avoided because it causes low sperm count in men. Consuming alcohol also creates the same problem; in addition it will affect women’s reproductive system also. It affects the health of unborn child too. If you are serious about having child then, give up smoking and alcohol intake completely.

2) The use of virginal lubricants can weaken the male’s sperm and affect their movements in cervix. Due to this sperms cannot able to fertilize the eggs so as conception is not possible.

3) Stress is another important cause. Stress can affect the reproductive health in women by changing the menstrual cycle. So please avoid anxiety and relax yourself as much as possible.

4) Food habits also play a main role in infertility. Fruits contain vitamin C and E and vegetables will help couples to improve their reproductive health. Eating grains, nuts, beans, cheese and milk also healthy enough to make them more fertile

There are few tips to increase sperm quality.

Practice safe sex. Sexually transmitted infections — such as chlamydia and gonorrhea — are a leading cause of infertility for both men and women. To protect yourself, limit your number of sexual partners and use a condom each time you have sex — or stay in a mutually monogamous relationship with a partner who isn’t infected.

Eat a healthy diet. Choose plenty of fruits and vegetables, which are rich in antioxidants — and might help improve sperm health.

Maintain a healthy weight. Some research suggests that obesity negatively affects sperm quality, reducing both sperm count and sperm movement.

Manage stress. Stress can decrease sexual function and interfere with the hormones needed to produce sperm.

Get moving. Include physical activity in your daily routine.
