When You Need a Good (Infertility Related) Laugh

I think it'd be safe to say that most of us don't get a lot of laughs from our infertility experiences. That said, my husband and I coped through much of our infertility experiences by using humor. More than once, I found myself crying and laughing at the same time.

I recently discovered* a blog that is all about laughter and infertility -- 999 Reasons to Laugh at Infertility. I love their tag line, too: "Because crying every time you get your period doesn't seem to help."

Besides the blog, you can also become a "fan" at Facebook.com, and read their daily messages. Sometimes they'll make you laugh, sometimes they'll make you smile, or even cry.

If you're looking for something to brighten your day, check it out!

Have you come across any great blogs on infertility? Ones that make you laugh or inspire you? Please feel free to share your favorite infertility blogs in the comments below.

* Hat tip to Pamela Madsen, who mentioned this blog in one of her blog posts, which is where I read about it.

Love that you picked up the blog! Isn’t it great! And thanks for the hat tip – and I am not picky – but it’s Pamela Madsen not Madison!!!! : )

I love that website! I wish I had known about it when I was going through IVF several years ago. Bravo!

Husband and I really had a great laugh reading the blog. Had we seen it a year ago, we would have coped better with our infertility woes. But since we were granted our miracle a few months back, I will just have fun reading through the site.

An exchange on email led to this blog post, which shows that laughter is a great tonic. You can find others sprinkled throughout the Coming2Terms blog as well.
