Symptoms of Infertility: Risk Factors and Red Flags

“Come back in a year,” is the answer given to most couples who are experiencing difficulty trying to conceive. And for many, this is good advice. The chance of getting pregnant in any one cycle for the average couple is about 20%, so six months to a year of trying before worrying about infertility makes sense.

However, for some couples, there are warning signs or risk factors that may hint to a fertility problem, before they try for six months to a year. This list of questions will help you and your partner discover if you should seek fertility help sooner rather than later.
